12 Store the vacuum cleaner in the
upright position. An accessory
clip (3 & 6) is situated on the
base of the machine and on the
lower extension tube (2). These
can be used to park the floor tool.

HOW TO CARE FOR
YOUR MACHINE
Filter maintenance:
1 Remove the hose (7) and open
the front cover. Raise the support
of the bag to an upright position.
Remove the dust bag. See fig.14.
2 If you are using the paper bag,
replace it when it is full or the
dust bag indicator (8) turns red.
3 If you are using the cloth bag,
slide the plastic clip off the bag
and empty it when it is full or the
dust bag indicator (8) turns red.
Refit the plastic clip and put the
bag back into place. See fig. 15.
NOTE: the cloth bag can be washed
in lukewarm water and dried
completely. Do not wash it in a
washing machine. See fig. 16.

Never operate your vacuum cleaner
without the dust bag fitted.
4 The motor filter should be
cleaned at least every two
months or when it becomes
visibly dirty.
5 Disconnect from the wall socket
before cleaning the motor filter.
6 Pull the dustbag upwards and
remove the motor filter. See fig. 17.

7 Rinse the motor filter in lukewarm
water and dry it completely. See
fig. 18.
