    Flash Photography The built-in flash has a Guide Number (GN) 12/39 (m/ft., ISO 100, 20 °C/68 °F) and provides coverage for the angle of view of a 16 mm lens. It can be used not only when natural lighting is inadequate but to fill in shadows and backlit subjects or to add a catch light to the subject's eyes.

Flash output can be increased to make the main subject appear brighter, or reduced to prevent unwanted highlights or reflections.

Multiple exposures can be recorded at any image quality setting, and make use of RAW data from the camera image sensor to produce colors noticeably superior to those in software-generated photographic overlays.

Protected files can not be deleted using the _ button or the Delete option in the playback menu. Note that protected images wifl be deleted when the memory card is formatted (_ 32).

To delete multiple selected photographs, all photographs taken on a selected date, or all photographs in the current playback folder, use the Delete option in the playback menu. Once deleted, photographs can not be recovered.
