replacement
We recommend replacing the filter when the
water filter indicator light turns on or your water
dispenser or ice maker decreases noticeably.
After changing the water filter cartridge, reset the
water filter status display and indicator light by
pressing and holding the BUTTON for 3 seconds.
1) Removethe old cartridge.
Rotatethe knobof the cartridge counterclockwise.
When the cartridgeis removed,you willfeel itclick
out of place.
Pullout thecartridge.
Replacewith a new cartridge.
Take the new cartridgeout of its packagingand remove
protectivecover from the o-rings.With cartridge knobin
the verticalposition,push the new filter cartridgeinto
the cover until it stops.
If you can'tturn the filterfrom sideto side, it isn't fully
inserted.Pushit in firmlyand twist it intoplace.Youwill
hearthe snapwhen it clicksinto place.Usingits handle,
twist the cartridge clockwiseabout
1/4
turn. Youwill hear
the snapwhen it clicksinto place.
3) Flushingthe Water System After ReplacingFilter.
Dispensewater through the water dispenserfor 3
minutes to purgethe system.
