TIMER
The TIMER
ON.OFF
pad controls t he Timer feature, T he
Timer servesas an extra timerinthe kitchen thatwill beep
when the settime has run out.It does not start or stop
cooking.The Timer featurecan be used during any of
the other oven control functions. R eferto "Minimum and
Maximum Control Pad Settings" fortime amount settings.
To set the Timer
(example for 5 minutes)
1.
Press TIMER
ON.OFF.
" ....
" will appear in the
display.
2.
Use the number pads to set the desired time in the
display; press 5.
3.
Press START. The time will begin to count down with
"5:OO" in the display.
Note: If START is not pressed the timer will return to the
time of day after 25 seconds.
4.
When the set time has run out, "End"
will show in
the display. The clock will sound with 3 beeps ever'/5
seconds until TIMER ON-OFF is pressed.
To cancel the
Timer
before
the
set time
has run
out
1.Press TIMER
ON-OFF. The display w ill r eturn to thetime
of day.

+ i MIN
FEATURE
The + I MIN pad isused to settheAdd I Minutefeature,
When the + I MIN pad is pressed, i minuteisadded tothe
Timer feature if this feature isalready active. I ftheTimer
feature isnotactive and the + % MIN
pad ispressed, the
Timer feature will become active and will begin counting
down from i minute.

LOCKOUT
FEATURE
The _
pad controls the Lockout feature.
The Lockout
feature automatically
locks the oven doors, the control
panel and the cooktop. It does not disable the Minute
Timer or the interior oven lights.

activatethe Lockout feature
Pressand hold_
for3 seconds.
After 3 seconds "Loc"
and "Control"
will appear, a
beep will sound, "UPPER", "LOWER" and "DOOR" will
flash in the display. Once the oven door is locked the
"DOOR"
will stop flashing and remain on along with
the "Loc", "Control"
and the I_I icon will appear.
To reactivate
normal operation:
1.
Press and hold _
for 3 seconds. A beep will sound.
The "UPPER", "LOWER"
and "DOOR" will flash in the
display until the oven door has completely unlocked and
the i_l icon will disappear.
2.
The unit is again fully operational.
NOTE
The surface elements
cannot be activated
when the
Lockout feature is active (see the section: The electro nic
surface element
control (ESEC)).
