If you're using Hitachi products, the remote is already programmed for the most common codes: TV =: 121 , VCR = 215;. For other
brands, or if your remote fails to control your Hitachi products, you'll have to program the remote.

Install the batteries if you have not already done so.

Remote is now in programming mode. (To exit programming mode any time, press PROG agair_.)

to test the product's operation. If it does not turn on, reprogram the remote
