CAUTION: The OFF TIMER is a one time only operation. Do not try to use your TV as a deterrent when away
from home by using both the ON and OFF TIMERS. The OFF TIMER function will not work until
you reset it and the next ON TIME (when using the DAILY MODE) will leave the TV set turned on
until you press the power button on the TV or remote control to turn it off.
• AUTOMATIC MESSAGE
Use this function to set up to two personal messages once a day or one time only. Setting the AUTOMATIC
MESSAGE is the same as setting CHANNEL CAPTION and ON TIMER. Press MENU, 1, ENTER, 6, ENTER to get
the AUTOMATIC MESSAGE display. (You can also use the CURSOR ,&, • to "scroll" to AUTOMATIC MESSAGE and
then select the function.)
