WARNmNG: T O AVOmD SERmOUS mNJURY, BEFORE PERFORMmNG ANY SER-
VmCE OR ADJUSTMENTS:
1. Depress brakepedal fully and set parking brake.
2. Place attachmentclutch in "DISENGAGED" position.
3. Turn ignitionkey to "STOP"and removekey.
4. Makesure the bladesand all movingparts havecompletelystopped.
5. Disconnectspark plug wire from spark plug and place wire where it cannot
come in contact with plug.
TRACTOR
TO REMOVEMOWER
1. Placeattachmentclutch in "DISEN-
GAGED"position.
2. If equipped,turn height adjustment
knobto lowestsetting.
3. Lower mowerto its lowestposition.
4. Removeretainerspring holding
anti-swaybar to chassis bracketand
disengageanti-swaybar from bracket.
5. Removefour retainersprings from front
plate assemblyand removeplate.
6. Removeretainersprings from suspen-
sion arms at deck and disengagearms
from deck.
7. Raise attachmentlift to its highestposi-
tion.
8. Slide mowerforwardand removebelt
from electric clutch pulley.
9. Slide mowerout from under right side
of tractor.

TO mNSTALL MOWER
Be sure tractor
is on level surface
and
mower
suspension
arms are raised
with
attachment
lift control.
Engage
parking
brake.
1.
Swing
anti-sway
bar to left side of
mower
deck.
2.
Slide mower
under tractor
with deflec-
tor shield
to right side of tractor.
mMPORTANT:
Check
belt for proper
rout-
ing in all mower
pulley
grooves.
3.
If equipped,
turn height
adjustment
knob counterclockwise
until it stops.
4.
Lower
mower
linkage
with attachment
lift control.
5.
Instatl belt into electric
clutch
pulley
groove.
6.
Place the suspension
arms on outward
pointing
deck pins.
Retain with double
loop retainer
spring
with loops
up as
shown.
