* Light bulb is loose or defective. Tighten or replace the bulb.
* Pad operating light is broken. Call for service.
* Oven thermostat needs adj ustI-ctent. See the Adjust the ()zJen Tt_,e_lostat

broiling only. Alwa?.s broil with the door closed.
* Oven controls improperly set. Make sure you press the BROIL
HIGH/LOW pad.
* Improper rack position being used. See the Broilir_g<g_lide.
* Food being cooked in a hot pan. Use the broiling pan and grid that
came with your oven. Make sure that it is cool.
* Cookware not suited for broiling. Use the broiling pan and grid that
came with your oven.
* The probe is plugged into the outlet in the oven. Remove the probe
flom the oven.
• Almninmn foil used on the broiling pan and grid has not been fitted
properly and slit as recommended.
• In some areas the power (voltage) may be low. Preheat the broil
element for 10 minutes. Broil for the longest period of time
recommended in the B,vilir_g'g, ude.
* The oven temperature is too high to set a selfLclean operation.
Allow the oven to cool and reset the controls.
* Oven controls improperly set. See the Usir_g"the SdfiClear_ir_g" OzJer_
section.
* The probe is plugged into the outlet in the oven. Remove the probe
