Initially,set the refrigerator control at 5 and the freezer control at 5 and allow
12-24hours for the temperatureto stabilize.
Severaladjustmentsmay be required.Adjust the controls one increment at a time,and
allow 12hours after each adjustment for the refrigerator to reach the temperatureyou
have set.
Settingthe controls to 0 stops cooling in both the refrigerator and freezer compartments
but doesnot shut off electrical power to the refrigerator.On somemodels, onlythe
refrigerator control has a # setting.
Touch pad controls
• Setting either control atOwill automaticallysetthe other control atO. Thezeros will
blink until you set the controls.
• If both controls are set at # and either COLDER pad is pressed,the controls will
automaticallyreset to 5.
Control s ettings will varybasedon personalpreferences, u sageandoperating
conditions andmay requiremorethanone adjustment.
NOTE:Onsomemodels, t herefrigerator i s shipped with protective film covering thetemperature
controls. I f this film wasnotremoved duringinstallation, remove it now

How it Works

cool foods. Use rurboCoolwhenadding a
laxge amount of food to the refrigerator
compartment, putting away foods after they
have been sitting out at room temperature
or when putting away warn1 leftovers. It can
also be used if the refligeramr has been
without power for an exmnded period.
Once activamd, the compressor will mrn on
immediately and the fans will cycle on and
off"at high speed as needed for eight horns.
The compressor will continue m run until
the reflJgerator compartment cools m
approximately 34°F (I°C), then it will cycle
on and off to maintain this setting. After
8 horns, or if
rurhoCoolis
pressed again,
the ref/Jgerator
comparnnent will rennn
m the o_Jgdnal setting.
How to Use
Press TurboCool. The TurboCool
indicator light will come on; however;
the refligemtor mmperamre displ W
will still show the current setting.
After TurboCool is
complete,
the TurboCool
indicator light will go out.
NOTES: The refligeramr
mmperamre
cannot be changed during
rurboCoot
The fieezer mmperamre is not
affbcmd during TurboCool.
When opening the refrigerator
door during TurboCoot t he fans
will continue m run if they have
cycled on.
