TAPE RECORDER SECTION

REWIND ( ) AND FAST FORWARD (
To rewind the tape, press the REWIND Button [10]. To rapidly advance the tape, press the
F.FWD Button [11]. To stop rewinding or fast forwarding, press the STOP/EJECT Button
[12].
PAUSE BUTTON (
To halt the tape temporarily during recording or playback, press the PAUSE Button [13]. To
release the pause mode, press the PAUSE Button again.
STOP/EJECT BUTTON (
When this button is pressed with the tape running, the tape stops. When it is pressed in the
stop mode, the cassette holder opens.
AUTO STOP MECHANISM
When a tape has completed playing back, rewinding, fast forwarding or dubbing, it stops
automatically.
VARIABLE MONITOR
During recording, adjustment of volume is unnecessary. A programme may be heard at any
desired volume.

B. SKIP /
• Skip Playback
By pressing briefly the
jump to a next or previous title, or you can select a track before starting playback.
A. During PLAY
- You can jump to the next title by pressing the F. SKIP Button once. If you want to skip
more than one track, press the F. SKIP Button more than once until the display shows
the desired track number.
- If you want to repeat the running title from the beginning, press the B. SKIP Button
once. If you want to repeat one of the previous titles, press the B. SKIP Button more
than once until the display shows the required track number.
B. In position STOP
- In position STOP with a CD inserted you can select the desired title using the B. SKIP
or F. SKIP Button until the display shows the required track number. Press PLAY/
PAUSE Button [20] to start playback.
• Search Playback
By keeping pressing the F.SKIP [22] or B.SKIP [21] Button, you can search forward or back-
ward for a particular point of a track. Release the buttons when the desired point has been
reached.
