RECOIL STARTER HANDLE
This handleisusedto startthe engine.
AiR FILTER
The throttlecontrolregulatesthe speedof the engine andwill shutoff
the enginewhenit ismovedintothe stop_ position.Thethrottle
control movesbetweenthe FAST,_ (rabbit),SLOW_ (turtle) and
STOP_ positions.
CHOKE CONTROL
Theair filter isa device on the engineair intake that preventsdust and
dirt enteringthe engine.See Figure12.
MUFFLER
Engineexhaustexitsthe enginevia the muffler.See Figure12.
CLUTCH CONTROL
Theclutchcontrol islocatedbeneaththe handle.Squeezingthe clutch
handleagainstthe handleengagesthewheeland thedrive mecha-
nisms.See Figure12.
Activatingthe chokecontrolclosesthe chokeplateon carburetorand
aids in startingengine.The chokeleverslides betweenthe RUNI{I
and CHOKEIJl positions.
