Placethe steering wheel cap overthe centerofthe steering wheel and
push downward until it "clicks" into place.
Attaching The Seat
If the seatforyourtractorwasnot attached at the factory,referto the following
steps.
NOTE: Forshippingreasons, the seatmayhavenot beenattached at the factory.In
thiscase, f reetheseatfrom itsshippingpositionandproceed usingthe instructions
below:

Position the seatassembly overthe seatmountingbracket, a ligningthe holes
provided. S ee "A" in Figure 4.

Installtwoshoulderboltsincludedwithyourhardwarepackand
securewith two
locknuts.SeeFigure 4.
6.
Feedthewiring h arnessthroughtheseatmounting
bracketandplugintothesafety
switchonthe bottomof the seat,asin"B" of Figure 4.
7.
Toadjustthe positionofthe seat,pullup andholdthe seatadjustment l ever.
Slide the seatforwardor rearwardto the desired position;thenrelease the
adjustment l ever.Makesureseatislockedintopositionbefore operatingthe
tractor.SeeFigure 5.

engaged in theseat-stop. E ngage the parkingbrake.Stand behind
the machine andpullbackon seatuntil it clicksinto place.

Tire Pressure
Maximum tire pressure under any circumstances is 30 psi. Equal
tire pressure should be maintained at all times. Never exceed the
[max mum nf at on pressure shown on the s dewa of the t re.
The recommended operating tire pressure is:
Approximately 10 psi for the rear tires
Approximately 14 psi for the front tires
IMPORTANT:
Refer to the tire sidewall for exact tire manufacturer's
recommended or maximum psi. Do not overinflate. Uneven tire pres-
sure could cause the cutting deck to mow unevenly.
