Possible Causes What To Do
Low inlet water temperature • Makesureinletwater temperatureis correct(seepage 6).Turnon
the hot waterfaucet nearest t he dishwasher, let run untilthe water
temperaturestopsrising. T henstart thedishwasher a nd turn off
the faucet.Thisinsures the enteringwater ishot.
Water pressureis temporarily low • Turnon a faucet. Iswater comingout moreslowlythan usual?
Ifso,wait untilpressure isnormalbeforeusingyour dishwasher.
Air gap or disposerisclogged • Cleanthe air gap or flushthe disposer.
Improper rack loading • Makesurelargedishwaredoesnot blockthe detergentdispenser
or the wash arms.Seethe Loading thedishwasher r ackssection.
No air gap or high drain loop • Verifythat youhavean air gap or a highdrain loop.Referto
the Installation Instructions.
Extremelyhard water • UseJet-Dry®or CascadeCrystal Clea_ rinseagentsto removespotsand
preventnewfilm buildup.
Lowinlet water temperature
• Toremovestubbornspotsand pre-existing film from glassware:
Overloadingthe dishwasher
Improperloading 1 Remove all metal utensilsfrom thedishwasher.
Old or damp powderdetergent 2 Donot add detergent.
Rinse agent dispenserempty 3 Select t he POTS & PANS cycle.
Toolittle detergent 4 Startthe dishwasher a nd allowto run for 18to 22 minutes.Dishwasher
willnowbein themainwash.
5 Openthe doorand pour2 cups(500ml)of white vinegarinto the
bottomof the dishwasher.
6 Close the doorand allowto completethe cycle.If vinegarrinsedoesn't
work:Repeat a sabove,exceptuse1//4 cup(60ml)of citricacidcrystals
insteadof vinegar.
Cloudiness on Combinationof soft water and • Thisiscalledetchingand is permanent. T opreventthis from happening,

Rinse agent was spilled • Alwayswipeup rinseagentspillsimmediately.
