START/RESET

flashingafter the dishwasher a utomaticallydrainsout the water.
NOTE: FormodelswithouttheSTART/RESET
pad,LEDs that are illuminated will flash
duringreset.
Using
the
dishwasher,
Check the Water Temperature
Theenteringwater shouldbe at least 120°F
(49°C)
and
not morethan 150°F (66°C)foreffectivecleaningandto
preventdishdamage.Checkthe water temperaturewith
a candyor meatthermometer. T urnon the hot water
faucetnearestthe dishwasher, placethe thermometerin
a glassand let thewater run continuously intothe glass
untilthe temperaturestopsrising.
Use a Rinse Agent such as Cascade Crystal Clear®
Rinse agentssuchasCascadeCrystal Clear®removespotsand preventnewfilm buildupon yourdishes,glasses,
flatware,cookwareand plastic.
Filling the Dispenser
Therinseagentdispenser holds35 oz.(1035 ml)of rinseagent. Undernormal
conditions, t his will lastapproximately one month.Tryto keepit full,but do notoverfill.

Makesurethedishwasherdoor isfullyopen.

Turnthe dispenser c ap to the left and lift it out.
[37 Add rinseagentuntilthe indicatorwindow looksfull.
[_ Cleanup anyspilledrinseagentwith a dampcloth.
E] Replace the dispenser cap.
RinseAid Setting
Theamount of rinseagentreleasedintothe finalwash canbe adjusted.Thefactory
settingis at the midpoint,if thereare ringsof calcium(hardwater)spotson dishes, t ry a
highersetting,tfyou seefoam in the dishwasher, movethe indicatorto a lowersetting.
Toadjust the setting
Remove the dispenser cap;then turn the adjustercounterclockwise t o increase the
amount of rinseagent,clockwise to reducetheamount of rinseagent.
