damage. Always wear safety glasses or eye shields before starting your lawn mower and while mowing. We recom-
mend the Wide Vision Safety Mask for over the spectacles or standard safety glasses, available at Sears Retail or
Catalog Stores.
LOCATION OF CONTROLS
ATTACHMENT CLUTCH:
Use the attachment clutch to
PARKING BRAKE LEVER:
Use the parking brake lever
start and stop the rotation of the blade, to engage the brake when you leave the unit.
CLUTCH / BRAKE PEDAL:
The pedal has two functions.
The first function is a clutch. The second function is a brake.
IGNITION SWITCH:
use the ignition switch to start and stop
the engine,
SHIFT LEVER:
Use the shift lever to change the speed of the
unit.
THROTTLE CONTROL LEVER:
Use the throttle control
LIFT LEVER:
Use the lift lever to change the height of cut. lever to increase or decrease the speed of the engine.
