Suppose you want to cook a baked potato:

PROCEDURE
Pierce with fork in several places. Place on paper towel on
turntable.
After cooking,
remove from oven and let stand
wrapped in foil for 5 to 10 minutes.
Add no water. Cover with lid or plastic wrap. After cooking,
stir and let stand, covered, for 3 minutes.
Wash and place in casserole. Add no water if vegetables
have just been washed. Cover with lid for tender vegetables.
Use plastic wrap for tender-crisp
vegetables.
Stir before
standing if possible. After cooking, let stand, covered, 2-5
minutes.
Place in casserole. Add 1-4 tbsp. water. Cover with lid for
tender vegetables.

towel. Put another paper plate upside down on turntable.
Place plate of bacon on top of overturned plate.
Arrange in ring around shallow glass dish (roll fillet with
edges underneath). Cover with plastic wrap. After cooking,
let stand, covered, 3 minutes.
