4. Quick imaging

The Quick imaging application allows you to receive images from a digital
camera via an infrared connection and send them as mail attachments. It is
also possible to receive images from another communicator, a scanner or a PC,
provided that they support the IrTran-P protocol.

To define settings

1 Press Settings in the Quick imaging application main view.
2 Press Change, if you want to change the settings. See figure 1.
Convert to JPEG — When this selection is set to Yes, the UPF images
received from a digital camera are automatically converted and saved in a
more widely supported JPEG format.
Use memory card — When this selection is set to Yes, the received images
are saved to the memory card. If you select No, images are saved in the
Notes application under the Downloaded files folder.
3 Press Close to return back to the main view.

To send images

1 Select the image or images you want to send from the digital camera.
2 Make sure that the infrared port of the communicator faces the infrared
port of the camera.
3 Activate the digital camera to send the selected images.
4 To receive images to the communicator, press Receive. See figure 2.
