Problems during Network Setup

WPS

Multiple APs detected is Displayed

Action
The message appears when multiple access points are
detected. Wait for a while, then configure the settings
again.

Failed to connect is Displayed

Check
The message appears when an error occurs. Check the
access point settings, then configure WPS settings again.
For details on how to check the settings of the access point, refer to the manual supplied with the
access point or contact its manufacturer.
For the procedure to configure WPS settings of the machine, refer to "Wireless Setup Using WPS
(Wi-Fi Protected Setup)" in the printed manual: Getting Started.
When using an access point that does not support WPS, configure the settings by referring to "7
Set Up a Wireless Connection" in the printed manual: Getting Started.

PIN codes do not match is Displayed

Action
The message appears when setup is not completed within
10 minutes. Follow the procedure below to configure WPS
settings again.

Select PIN code method on the WPS screen, then press the OK button.
A new PIN code appears.

Set the new PIN code to the access point or computer.
