Configuring Guest Operating System Shutdown on the Client-Side

To configure the guest operating system shutdown:

Start the Hyper­V Manager.

Select one of the guest operating systems from the Virtual Machines list. Figure 3 shows an
example with Windows Server 2003 and Windows Server 2008 installed as guest operating
systems.

Select Setting from the Actions pane on the right.
The server settings window opens.

Select Automatic Stop Action Save from the Management list to display shutdown options
(see Figure 3).
