1. INTRODUCTION

The Dell IT supervision tool is called "Dell Multi UPS Management Console"
Dell Multi UPS Management Console:

Discovers and supervises Dell UPSs connected to the network (either by means of a card or a
proxy). For the detailed list of compatible solutions, please refer to the paragraph
(Equipment Compatibility List) hereafter.

Supervises the remote servers hosting the Dell UPS Local Node Manager application.
x
Provides advanced management feature (mass configuration / mass upload/ ... ) with Dell
Network Management cards ( H910P )
x
Provides local computer graceful shutdown through Dell Network Management Cards.

Notes:
To avoid network access conflicts, we advise you against installing the Dell Multi UPS Management
Console on a machine that also hosts:

a Network Management System ( e.g. Dell Management Console, ...)

Dell UPS Local Node Manager
x
Network Management Proxy

2.1.2. ON THE SYSTEM THAT DISPLAYS WEB BASED GRAPHICAL USER INTERFACE

The Dell Multi UPS Management Console graphical interface can be accessed remotely using a simple
Web browser. Access to this interface is secured through SSL connection (default configuration) and
is also secured through Login & password.
The Dell Multi UPS Management Console graphical interface has been tested with:
