Access Journal secondary site may be abnormal. If the status of the pair remains abnormal, you
will be unable to transfer your business tasks back to the primary site. To solve this problem, see
the following table, check the pair status and then perform a problem solving operation before
transferring business tasks back to the primary site.

Recovering from failures in the primary site and the Continuous Access Synchronous
secondary site
If a disaster or failure occurs in both the primary site and the Continuous Access Synchronous
secondary site in a 3DC multitarget configuration, you can resume your business tasks by using
the secondary volume in the Continuous Access Journal secondary site. After you transfer business
tasks to the Continuous Access Journal secondary site, remove failures from the primary site and
the Continuous Access Synchronous secondary site, so that you will be able to transfer business
tasks back to the primary site.
To transfer your business tasks to the Continuous Access Journal secondary site, follow the procedure
below. RAID Manager (RAID Manager) is used in this procedure:
1.
Use RAID Manager to execute the horctakeover command on the Continuous Access Journal
pair.
2.
Use the volume in the Continuous Access Journal secondary site to resume your business tasks.
