KEY OPERATOR PROGRAMS

INDEX PRINT

This setting is used to have a black mark (index)
printed at the top of each received fax page.
The position of the mark is shifted with each fax
reception, allowing you to easily distinguish where one
fax reception ends and another begins.
• Enable this function before receiving faxes. The
function remains enabled until you disable it.
• When this function is used, less space is available
on the paper to print the fax image, and thus a
received fax is sometimes divided onto two pages.
• If the received fax is reduced before printing, the
black mark is also reduced.
• When the duplex reception function (page 105) is
enabled to print faxes on both sides of the paper, it is
not recommended that this function be enabled. If
this is done, the black mark will be printed on both
sides of the paper in the same relative position as
when one-sided printing is used.

EARLIER OUTPUT
