4. Do one of the following:
If you use automatic loading, reboot the computer to
load the fax software with the new settings.
or
If you do not use automatic loading, reboot to unload
the software and type \PSFAX\PSFAX from the MS-DOS
prompt to load your new settings.
The advanced install program (INSTALL/A) is used to change
some of the internal settings for the fax printer, as well as some
of the advanced settings for the fax software.
INSTALL/A can do the following:
Print fax printer settings
Edit fax printer settings
Edit timeout settings
Edit printer port redirection
Edit fax printer password.
At the MS-DOS c: command prompt, type \PSFAX\INSTALL/A (or
use the appropriate path for your fax software installation).
The Advanced Installation Options screen appears:
The printer has a number of internal settings that are stored in its
non-volatile RAM memory (NVRAM). You can use INSTALL/A to
do the following:
Produce a Fax Settings Page showing your current settings
Change the current settings.
Follow these steps to print a settings page:
1. Make sure your printer is on and on-line.
