Solution
No paper is loaded for the selected paper source.
Load paper in the printer; the Paper Out and
Pause lights go off and the printer resumes printing.
The paper is not loaded correctly.
Remove and reload your paper correctly. See
Chapter 3 for instructions on how to load the type
of paper you want to use.
The paper release lever is set to the wrong
position.
Set the paper release lever to the position that
matches the paper loaded in the printer.
Single-sheet paper is not fully ejected.
Remove the paper by hand; the Paper Out light
goes off.
Paper is jammed in the printer.
To clear the paper jam, see "Clearing a Paper
Jam" on page 7-24.
The print head is overheated.
Wait a few minutes; the printer resumes printing
automatically once the print head cools.
An unknown printer error has occurred.
Turn off the printer and leave it off for several
minutes; then turn on the printer again. If the error
recurs, contact your dealer.
