While EPSON's research and development has a natural focus on
hardware, there is just as much effort placed on consumables –
inks, papers, ribbons etc.
Inks from various manufacturers are likely to be of different consistency – and this is just one feature of ink.
Too thick a consistency, and the printer mechanism will be unable to force it through the EPSON Micro Piezo printheads.
The result...anything from missing bands across the image, to high levels of output distortion.
Regardless of the printing solution you use, it is critical to consider the entire solution. Only genuine EPSON consumables
have been designed specifically to work with EPSON products.
