If you select "Child," "Youth," or "Y.Adult"
(Young Adult), the Parental Control is activated
automatically.
Tip
]Ifyou arc not ramiliar with the Parental Guide[i_e ratil_g
system, you should select "Child," "Youth," or "Y.Adult" to
help simplify the rating selectio*_. To set more restrictive
rath_gs, select "Custom" (see "Selecting a Custom Rating"
on page 44).
Press MENU to exit the menu screen.

To change the password
"1 Press MENU.
2 Press _/'_ to select @_ (Parent), then press @.
Enter your four-digit password using the 0-9
buttons.
The Parent menu options appear.
4 Press 4_/_ to select '°Change Password," then
press @.
5 Enter a new four-digit password using the 0-9
buttons.
Enter the password set in step 5 again to confirm.
7 Press MENU to exit the menu screen.
Tip
l_fyou have fi._rgotte_ your password, emer the master password
'4357" (correspo_dil_g to HELP" on a phone _mmber pad) i_
step 3, You cal_ then store a _ew password.
Notes
* If you emered "4357" as your password for the first time, you
cam_ot store a _ew password (see step 3 of"Activath_g the
Paremal Control feature" on page 42).
* When you select a Paternal Comrol program and the I_
indicati(m is displayed on fl-_e scree_, you cannot view that
program even if you enter "4357" (see "To view blocked
programs" on page 43).
To view blocked programs
You can view blocked programs by entering the
password.
"1 Press ENT (enter) when tuned to a blocked
program.
2 Enter your password using the 0-9 buttons.
The Parental Control f)ature will be canceled
temporarily until you turn the TV off.
To deactivate the ParentN Control feature
Set "Lock" to "Off' in the _ (Parent) menu.
