Playing back a tape with picture effects
During playback, you can process a scene using the picture effect functions: NEG.ART,
SEPIA, B&W and SOLARIZE.
(1) In VCR mode,
press FN to display PAGE1.
(2) Press MENU, then select P EFFECT in _ in the menu settings to select a
desired picture effect mode (p. 105).
Refer to page 48 for details of each picture effect function.
To return to FN
Press EXIT.
To cancel the picture effect function
Set P EFFECT to OFF in the menu settings.
Notes
• You cannot process externally input scenes using the picture effect function.
• You cannot record images on a tape on your camcorder when you have processed the
image using the picture eff_,ct function. However, you can record images on a
"Memory Stick" (p. 126, 131), or on a VCR using your camcorder as a player.
Pictures processed by the picture effect function
Pictures processed by the picture, effc,ct function are not output through the _ DV jack.
When you set the POWER switch to OFF (CHARGE) or stop playing back
Tlv, picture effect function is automatically canceled.
