the radio.

band.

is stored.
If preset tuning does not work

Automatic tuning:
Press

search for the station.
Scanning stops when _he unit receives a
station. Repeat the oper3tion

station is received.
Local Seek Mode:
If the automatic
tuning
stops too
frequently,
press _
repeatedly
until "LCU'
indicator
appears
in the
display.
Only 1he stations with relatively
slrong
signals will be tuned in.
'1_ cancel fl_e local seek mode, press
again.
Tip
If you know the frequency of the station you want to
listen to, press and hold _
(+) or _
(-) to
locate the approximate
frequency, then press
(+) or _
(-) repeatedly
to fine adjust to
the desired frequency (manual tuning).
If FM stereo reception is poor
-- Monaural Mode
During radio reception,
press
repeatedly
until "MONO"
indicator
appears
in the display.
"MONO"
indicator is displayed.
The sound improves, but becomes
monaural
("ST" disappears).
"ib return to normal radio reception
mode, press
again.
Storing onlythe desired
stations
You can manually
preset the desired stations on
any chosen number button.

repeatedly
to select
the radio.

Press _
repeatedly
to select the
band.

Press _
(+) or
_
(-)
to tune
in the station that you want to store.

Press the desired
number button (@
to @)
for 2 seconds
until "MEM"
appears.
The number button indication
appears in |he
display.
Note
If youtry tostore another station on the same number
button, the previously stored station will be erased.
