Adjust the exposurecompensationsetting to avoid makingthe subject too dark
when it is backlit or shot againsta bright backgroundor to avoid makinglights
appeartoo bright in night shots.
In the FUNC.menu,select [] *.
SeeSelecting Menus and Settings (p. 43).

Usethe D or _) button to adjustthe
exposure compensation.
• The settings can be adjusted in 1/3 stops
in the range -2 to +2.
• You can confirm the effect of the setting in
the LCD monitor when it is on,
• You can shoot right after selecting an
option, The menu displays again after the
shot, allowing you to change the settings
easily.
Pressthe FUNC.button.
The display will return to the Shooting
screen,
Toreset the exposure compensation
Return the setting to O,
