e Before recording, you can set the AE lock (p. 49) and
exposure shift,

1. Press the IS0 button.

The exposure will lock (AE lock) and the exposure shift
bar will appear in the LCD monitor.
2. Use the ÷ or ._ button to adjust the exposure.
Press the IS0 button again to release the setting. Also,
the setting will be canceled if you press the MENU button
or change the white balance, My Colors or shooting
mode settings.
• In I_ mode, the selected power saving option (p. 26)
determines
if the LCD monitor turns off or not. You can turn
the LCD monitor on by pressing any button other than the
power button or shutter button.
• QuickTime is required to play back movies (Data type: AVI/
Compression
method: Motion JPEG) on a computer (for
Windows 2000 only).
