Rivalling the quality of many high performance drum scanners, the Epson
Perfection V700 Photo has a maximum optical density of 4.0 Dmax,

ensuring high quality print-ready negative and transparency scans can be made
easily and quickly.
Regardless of the scanning mode, the Epson Perfection V700 Photo can
faithfully reproduce a full range of colours by virtue of its 16-bit gradation capability.
In order to maintain image integrity with the increase in gradation, the Epson
Perfection V700 Photo has been designed with a special AD converter
for "noise" reduction.

DIGITAL ICE Lite
In keeping with the "professional scanning
solution" design goals for the Epson
Perfection V700 Photo, this powerful
scanner includes DIGITAL ICE and DIGITAL
ICE Lite technologies, which function during
the scanning process to remove dust and
scratch marks from colour film and slide
scans with incredible accuracy.
Integrated Transparency Unit
The Epson Perfection V700 Photo's Integrated Transparency
Unit (TPU) with four film holders makes it the perfect film scanning
unit. Using the film holders, it's absolute simplicity to set up
simultaneous scanning of either:
• 24 frames of 35mm stripfilm
• 12 slide mounted 35mm films
• 2 medium format 120/220 (6 x 20cm) stripfilm
• 8 x 10-inch (using Film Area Guide)
• 2 frames of 4 x 5-inch film
