REPLACEMENT FUSE
See Figure 10, page ii.
In the event the fuse in the canister vac blows, it will need
to be replaced. Look for replacement fuses where you
purchased this product.
[] Remove the battery pack from the canister vac to ac-
cess fuse housing.
[] Remove the current fuse and discard. Use a pair of
fuse pullers if necessary.
[] Use only 30 amp JAT blade type automotive fuse to re-
place the blown fuse. If canister vac still will not work,
take it to an authorized service center for repair.
STORAGE
(1 MONTH
OR LONGER)
[] Clean all foreign material from the canister vac.
[] Empty the collection container before storage.
[] Store indoors in a place that is inaccessible to chil-
dren. Keep away from corrosive agents such as garden
chemicals and de-icing salts.
BATTERY
PACK REMOVAL
AND PREPARATION
FOR RECYCLING
WARNING:
Upon
removal,
coverthe
battery pack's terminals with heavy-duty adhesive
tape. Do not attempt to destroy or disassemble
battery pack or remove any of its components.
Nickel-cadmium
batteries must be recycled or
disposed of properly. Also, never touch both termi-
nals with metal objects and/or body parts as short
circuit may result. Keep away from children. Failure
to comply with these warnings could result in fire
and/or serious injury.
