workpieces and non-throughcuts.
When making one of the following cuts, followthe
instructionsthat apply for the basic cut, dependingon
the position,shape, and size of the wood. Do not
attempt these cuts until you are skilled with the basic
cuts.

Place a supportthe same height as the saw table
nearby for the cut work.

WARNING: Make sure the blade guard is
lowered and is workingproperlyto prevent
possibleinjury.

WARNING:
Never put your hands within 3 in. of
the blade when it is on.
Make sure the wood does not touchthe blade
before you turn on the saw with the switch on the
arm. Let the blade buildup to full speed before it
contacts the wood.
• When the work is completed,press the switch off
and remove the key.
