Vertical Position
1. Pull the horizontalbeamlockout to releasethe beamand pivot
the beamto the verticalposition.
2. Tolock the beamin the verticalposition,pull out on the vertical
beamlock and rotateit to securethe beam.See Figure14.

3. Lowerthe beamto its horizontalposition.Makecertainthe beam
is lockedsecurelywith the horizontalbeamlock.
4. Raisethe adjustable jack standby turningthe crank clockwise.

5. Attachthe couplerhitchto a class I or higher2" ball on a towing
vehicle.Latchsecurely.
6. If the couplerhitch does notfit on the ball: Turnthe adjustment
nutone turn counter-clockwise.
7. If the couplerhitch is too looseon the ball:Turntheadjustment
nutone turn clockwise.Thenrecheckand adjust accordingly.
8. Connectthe safetychainsto the towingvehicle.
Donot tow fasterthan 45 mph and checklocal, state,and federal
requirements beforetowingon any public road.
NOTE:Use cautionwhen backingup.Usinga spotteroutsideof the
vehicleis recommended.
