What is Overlay Printing?

Overlay Printing overlays a form file on a document.
For example, when the format of a report or bill is created in an application as a form file, you can
print a text data document overlaid with the form file to create a perfectly formatted document.

Creating a Form File

Before using Overlay Printing, a form file must be created in an application.
To create a form file

Prepare a document in an application.

In the application, select the Print command, and then click the Properties button in the
Print dialog box.

Display the Page Setup sheet.
