5 When you finish entering the name, use
to move the cursor to "OK" and press
SELECT.
The display returns to the collection or playlist list.
Select "Cancel" and press SELECT to return to the collection
or playlist list without changing the playlist or collection name.
Press BACK to return to the collection or playlist list at any
time.

Moving playlists

1 To move a playlist to a different collection,
display the playlist screen on the on-screen
display (step 4 in the "Making playlists",
page 75). To move a playlist item to another
playlist, display the playlist contents screen on
the on-screen display (step 9 in the "Making
playlists" procedure, page 76).
2 Use
/
to select an item to move.
3 Press SUB MENU.
The Sub Menu appears on the on-screen display.

Using the on-screen keyboard to enter characters

This section explains how to use the on-screen keyboard to enter characters on all entry screens.
If you connect a PS/2 keyboard to the MusicCAST server, you can use it to enter characters directly from these
screens. See page 79 for a detailed explanation.
1 Use
/ / / to select a character, and press
SELECT.
The selected character appears in the character palette.
You can carry out the following procedures from this screen.
del
Delete the selected character.
bksp
Delete the character to the left of the currently
highlighted character in the cursor palette.
A ⇔ a Switch between capitalized and non capitalized letters.
Clear
Delete all characters in the character palette.
Move the cursor to the left.
Move the cursor to the right.

4 Use
/
to move the cursor to "Move to" and
press SELECT.
The destination menu appears in the Sub Menu.
5 Use
/
and SELECT to choose a destination
for the item.
Press SELECT to move the destination display one level down,
or to move the item if there are no further display levels
available.
Move the cursor to "up" and press SELECT to move the
destination display one level up.
Move the cursor to "quit" to return to the playlist menu without
moving the item.
6 Use
/
to move the cursor to "move" and
press SELECT to move the item.
The MusicCAST server moves the item to the selected
location.
NOTE
• Moving a item that is currently playing stops playback.
• Moving an item removes it from its original location in the
correction or playlist. To move an item while leaving a copy
in its original location, select "Copy to" from the Sub Menu
in step 3.
2 Repeat step 1 until you finish entry.
3 When you finish entry, use
"OK" and press SELECT.
The display returns to the previous screen.
Select "Cancel" and press SELECT to return to the Sub Menu
without changing any characters.
