Engine control system malfunctioning
While driving, to indicate a
malfunction in the emission
control system and in the
ignition/injection system.
It remains on for a self-check cycle from the
instant the ignition key is turned to position
II until a few seconds following the engine
starting.

Direction indicator
When the direction indicators are
turned on.
When the hazard warning lights are turned
on.
Position lights/low beams
When the position lights or low
beams are turned on.
High beams
When the high beams are turned
on.
When the high beams are used to flash.
Parking lights
When the parking light control
switch is activated.
Rear fog lights
When the rear fog lights are
turned on.
Heated rear window and exterior rear
view mirror defroster
When the button which controls
the heated rear window and
the exterior rear view mirror
defroster is operated.
They will automatically switch off thirty
minutes after they have been activated.
Ferrari CODE system
The vehicle is equipped with an
electronic engine immobilizer
system (Ferrari CODE), which
is activated automatically when
the ignition key is removed.
The keys are equipped with an electronic
device that transmits a coded signal to the
immobilizer ECU, which allows the engine
to be started only if it is recognised.

When the seat heater is activated

Failure of all the braking systems and CST
When the warning lights shown
in the figure come on at the same
time:
Caution: Danger of rear wheels
locking due to malfunctioning of the
electronic brake-force distribution system
and possibility of spinning.
Stop the car without braking sharply. Do
not drive any further and immediately
contact the Ferrari Service Network.
The car may still be driven at low speed
(max. 40 km/h - 25 mph) in order to pull
off the road.
