Lubrication
The lubricants has to be applied to the specified points of the printer. The specified lubrication points and
EPSON recommended lubricants are listed in Table 6-1. The recommended lubricants, G-26 and O-8,
have been tested and found the most applicable to this printer mechanisms. It is also required to apply an
adequate amount of lubricant since excessive application may damage nearby parts. (Refer to Table 6-2.)
; Make sure there is no stain on the surface to be lubricated before lubricating.
; When applying O-8, use the provided container and be sure not to leave any oil after use.

Recommended Lubricants

Table 6-1 lists the recommended lubricants. You can order the listed grease and oil thorough the usual
servicing parts department.
