In the next page, we will explain the each function of the "Get Status" function.
1) Inquire
Clicking this button, you can get the following printer status.
n
Ink level of the each ink cartridge
The available remaining ink amount is displayed with figure of Ink cartridge.

Printer status
The status monitor can get the following 7kinds of the printer status depend
on the printer status.
* Maintenance error, * Paper jam, *Paper out * Fatal error, * Ink low, *Ink
end, * Printing
2) Close
Clicking this button, you can close the Status monitor and can return to the
adjustment menu.
3) D4 mode function
You can perform the following items directly from this menu.

Execute Head cleaning
The suitable printhead cleaning is performed based on the cleaning order.
See the "Ink Sequence" on page 40.

Print nozzle check pattern
This function performs the nozzle check printing.

Exchange ink cartridge
In this function, you can select which ink cartridge you will exchange, and
can perform the I/C exchange sequence even if the printer is ink low/end
condition.

Adjustment

Reset the printer
This reset function is almost same as the Power on reset and following items
are reset by this function.
* Initialize printer mechanism.
* Clears the input data buffer
* Clears the print buffer
* Sets default values except I/F setting.

Check the Protection counter (Waste drain ink pad counter check.)
In this function, you can check the Waste drain ink pad counter. We
recommend to use this function to check the counter after complete the repair.
Basically, you have to click the "Get Status" button to get the printer status.
But, when any error condition is detected by this program on the connected printer,
error status is displayed automatically as following figure.

This program's status monitor dose not display the "Paper out"
error status in the Bi-d adjustment even if the paper is out in the
ASF. When the paper is out in the ASF, this program continues to
send the paper feed command until the paper is set in the ASF.
