Stacker bin full condition

The stacker bin will signal a full condition when approximately:
l
3000 sheets of letter/A4 have been collected in the stacker bin.
l
1500 sheets of ledger/A3 have been collected in the stacker bin.
Note
A full bin condition is declared when the stacker bin contains 15 kg (33 lb) of paper.
Full bin—Optical sensors detect presence of paper and full mini stack condition. The stacker bin
receives the first page, and continues receiving paper until a full mini stack condition (70 sheets of
paper) is detected. At this time, the stacker bin receives a signal to move down and continue
receiving paper. This cycle is repeated several times, until the stacker bin activates the full bin micro-
switch located at the bottom of the unit. This micro-switch indicates a full bin condition when using
letter/A4 or equivalent paper.
Over-load—Optical sensors detect presence of paper and full mini stack condition. The stacker bin
receives the first page, and continues receiving paper until a full mini stack condition (70 sheets of
paper) is detected. At this time, the stacker bin receives a signal to move down and continue
receiving paper. When ledger/A3 or equivalent paper is used, the over-load micro-switch is activated
when the weight of the paper stack reaches 15 kg (33 lb).
