The ESN is a security system which disables all deck functions when the power is restored if the deck is stolen from the vehicle. The ECLIPSE website (E-iSERV) provides software that enables steering switch operation even with the installation of the deck. Import this software into your CD5425. Depending on your vehicle’s make and model, material downloaded from the website may not be compatible with your steering switch.
