Each pattern consists of musical data for one track. It is
not possible to create patterns that contain multiple
tracks.
These patterns are used by the RPPR function.
The RPPR (Realtime Pattern Play/Recording)
function:
For each multi, you can assign a pattern to each note of
a connected MIDI keyboard, and play multiple pat-
terns in realtime by playing notes on the keyboard.

each track 1–16
Here you can receive and play performance data from
an external sequencer. Select a multi, and make pro-
gram, pan, and level settings. ( p.24)
If the separately sold EXB-MOSS option is
installed, bank INT-F programs can also be used in
Multi mode. For details on the parameters of bank
INT-F programs, refer to the EXB-MOSS owner's
manual and PG p.251.
Template Multi
The TRITON-Rack contains sixteen template multis.
These contain program and effect settings etc. that are
suitable for various styles of music. You can load these
settings into a multi. See p.24 for the loading proce-
dure.
You can also modify the settings of a template multi
that you load, or save frequency-used settings as a user
template multi. See PG p.51 for the saving procedure.
User patterns and RPPR settings are not saved in a
user template multi.
Copying combination sounds to multiple tracks
You can copy combination sounds to multiple tracks
and use them. See PG p.51 for the copy procedure.
If you wish to play the arpeggiator using arpeggia-
tor settings from a combination you copied, set the
MIDI channel of the external MIDI device to match
the global MIDI channel. When you play the key-
board of the external MIDI device, it will sound
simultaneously with the combination.
