2. Before loading paper into the paper trays, fan the edges to separate any sheets of paper that are
stuck together. This reduces the possibility of paper jams.
Load the paper against the right-hand side of the tray.
Notes:
• Load pre-printed paper faceup, with the top of the page toward the front of the tray.
• To help avoid paper jams, do not load paper above the maximum fill line.
3. Push the tray completely into the feeder.
4. If required, choose paper type or color on the printer's touch screen, then touch Confirm.
5. If you have not changed the media type, touch Confirm on the touch screen.

Loading Envelopes

Envelopes can only be loaded in Tray 5 (Bypass Tray).
Tray 5 (Bypass Tray) accepts C5 envelopes measuring 229 mm x 324 mm (9 x 12.75 in.) and C4
envelopes measuring 162 mm x 229 mm (6.3 x 9 in.).
