Correctly Using the Embroidery Frames

The various types of embroidery frames and their uses are described below. In addition to the included
embroidery frames, the optional cap frame can be used with this embroidery machine.
CAUTION
Only use embroidery frames of the sizes indicated in the screen, otherwise the
embroidery frame may hit the presser foot, which may result in injuries.

Usage
Use when embroidering
connecting characters or
patterns, combined patterns or
large embroidery patterns.
Use when embroidering
patterns with a size less than
130 mm (H) × 180 mm (W) (5-
1/8 inches (H) × 7-1/8 inches

Use when embroidering
standard-sized patterns.
Use when embroidering small-
sized patterns, such as
nametags.
Use when embroidering caps.
Baseball (golf) caps, tulip hats
and bucket hats can be
embroidered with these frames.
These frames cannot be used
with hats having a front area of
50 mm (2 inches) or less, such
as sun visors and children's hats.
In addition, these cannot be
used with hats that have a brim
longer than 80 mm (3-1/8
inches).
