B. Print Process
The major portion of the image formation system is contained in a cartridge as shown in Figure 2-4-2.
Primary charging roller
Cleaning blade
Photosensitive drum
Static charge eliminator
The cartridge used by the printer contains a two-layered seamless as shown in Figure 2-4-3.
The seamless drum consists of an external organic photoconductive layer (OPC) and an internal aluminum substrate.
The printing process can be divided into five major stages.
1. Electrostatic latent image formation stage
