The BJ Backgrounder is not displayed during a print job and you cannot use background
printing.

Checking the Printing Environment
Open the Printer Properties dialog box, then click the Page Layout
tab.
Check Background Printing in the Background checkbox.
Select Chooser from the Apple menu.
Set Backgrounding to On.
