Configuring the 1 T3/E3 Module

Configuring Scrambling for E3

To enable encryption of the payload on the E3 controller, complete the following tasks beginning in
global configuration mode.
Command
Step 1
interface serial slot/port
Example:
Router(config)# interface serial 1/0
Step 2
scramble
Example:
Router(config-if)# scramble
Step 3
exit
Example:
Router(config-if)# exit

T3 Controller
The following is sample output from the show running-config command for a T3 controller:

Chapter 6
