Installing a Child Seat
7. Tighten the strap according to the
seat maker's instructions.
8. Push and pull the child seat
forward and from side-to-side to
verify that it is secure.
9. Reinstall the dual deck cargo shelf.

Using the Center LATCH
TETHER ANCHOR
CENTER LOWER ANCHORS
To install a LATCH-compatible child
seat in the rear center seating
position, use the center lower
anchors as shown above.
1. Remove the head restraint (see
page 102 ). Make sure the
removed head restraint is secured
in the cargo area. Reinstall the
head restraint when the child seat
is removed.
2. Follow step 1 through 4 as
described previously to secure the
child seat.
3. Pull down the cover to access the
tether anchor.
