Adjusting Your Detector Settings
Your detector has a number of user‐selectable options to customize PASSPORT iQ to your own
preferences. To review your current settings or change any settings, touch Detector... on the main
Settings screen.
The Detector Settings screen will display, presenting a menu of options.
Touch the down arrow to display more settings. Touch the up arrow to return to the previous screen.
Setting detection sensitivity
PASSPORT iQ has three detection sensitivity modes, as well as an option to turn radar/laser detection
off:
Highway sensitivity—Provides maximum sensitivity on all bands.
Auto sensitivity—Provides real‐time radar performance based on your vehicle speed. As your
vehicle speed increases, the radar sensitivity (X‐ and K‐band) is set to maximum range. As the
vehicle speed decreases, the radar sensitivity (X‐ and K‐band only) is minimized to further
