Refilling

If the generator
is operated with insufficient
battery electrolyte,
sulfation
and battery plate damage will occur.
If rapid loss of electrolyte
is experienced,
or if your battery seems to be
weak, causing
slow
starting
of other
electrical
problems,
see your
authorized
Honda generator
dealer.
Open the maintenance
cover and check the electrolyte
level in each
battery cell. Fill the battery with distilled
water to the upper level line.
Never overfill
the battery.

The battery
contains
sulfuric,
acid (electrolyte)
which
is highly
corro-
sive and poisonous.
Getting
electrolyte
in your eyes or on your skin can cause serious burns.
Wear protective
clothing
and eye protection
when working
near the
battery.
EMERGENCY
PROCEDURES:
Eyes
-
Flush with water from a cup or other container
for at
least 15 minutes.
Call a physician
immediately.
Skin
-
Remove contaminated
clothing.
Flush skin with large
quantities
of water. Call a physician.
If swallowed
-
Drink water or milk and call your poison control
center
or a physician
immediately.
